The working Spanish town of San Pedro de Alcántara is located just 10 kilometres west of Marbella, and 2 kilometres west of Puerto Banús, yet is just a few minutes away from the natural beauty of the Sierra de Ronda mountain range and 20 km from the town of Estepona.

The town has become increasingly popular in the last few years with both holidaymakers and foreign residents. The area is divided by the main coastal road; on the inland side is the old town with it’s narrow cobbled streets and tiny local stores, and on the beach-side are the new urbanisations, long stretches of beach, and a charming beachside promenade that is home to some excellent beach bars.

There are many quality hotels here, and easy driving access to a variety of golf courses.
