With a range of gastronomy and nightlife on offer to get the party started, here you can literally be entertained under the stars all summer long .

The beautiful Tennis Club of the 5-star Hotel Puente Romano is another of Marbella’s key venues for glamorous outdoor concerts. George Benson, Tito Jackson, Sting, Kool & The Gang, Earth, Wind & Fire and Lionel Richie to name but a few have performed here to rapturous, select crowds. There are none scheduled – as yet- for Summer 2022, but the hotel’s thriving bar and gastronomy scene is the place to be seen.

New on the concert promoter scene is the Marbella Arena, in the revamped Puerto Banús bullring, which has previously hosted the likes of dancer Joaquin Cortes. Heading the bill this year are soul funk band Sister Sledge, the Undercover Festival, a classical concert and a concert for Ukraine.

Marenostrum Festival in Fuengirola, just 32 kilometres away from Marbella, is also notching up a who’s who of the music industry. This outdoor music festival, held in an enchanting venue, just metres from the waves crashing on the beach, under the light of Fuengirola’s beautifully illuminated Sohail Castle is the ideal place to enjoy music with a fresh summer breeze. With every genre represented, from rock to Latin to Jazz, previous luminaries to grace this special stage include Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart, Jennifer Lopez and Simply Red.

For a taste of something classical, just an hour and a half’s drive away, you can enjoy a cultural feast in the sublime setting of La Alhambra, Granada’s historical gem, the cathedral along with patios, plazas and other enchanting venues in the city. Now in its 70th edition, Granada’s International Festival of Music & Dance brings world-renowned musicians and dancers to delight audiences in this magical setting.
